Stellium Hires VP of Business Strategy
Story by Margaret Anne
LITTLE ROCK, ARK. – Stellium and Johnson Firm expand by hiring a vice president of business strategy on April 13th.
Stellium was founded in 2021 by CEO Anthony Johnson as a much-needed solution to the legal industry's broken and outdated relationship with data and technology. Johnson Firm is a nationally focused mass tort and personal injury law firm committed to helping individuals injured by bad drugs and defective medical devices, other defective products, or in semi-truck, automobile, or workplace accidents. Stellium’s VP of business strategy will work closely with Johnson and the executive team to define the vision and direction of growth.
"I recognized the need to create a company (Stellium) that disrupts the legal industry,” says Johnson. “I'm excited to hire Damon Singleton, our new VP of Business Strategy, to help us achieve goals and take Stellium to new heights."
Powered by the expertise of forward-thinking legal and tech professionals across various disciplines, Stellium is committed to leveraging only the latest in cutting-edge technology—alongside an unapologetically disruptive mindset—to deliver the kind of data-driven solutions needed to revolutionize the business of law for our digital age. Singleton's new position at Stellium will include developing and implementing strategies to coordinate all legal options. He will also ensure accurate fund reporting and work with the chief financial officer and finance controller to oversee project costs, profitability, and capacity management in marketing, legal ops, and litigation.
Singleton holds a BSBA from the University of Arkansas and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock School of Law with Honors. Before joining Johnson Firm, he worked as an attorney with Turner & Associates, representing plaintiffs in complex litigation cases across the United States. His experience includes business litigation, personal injury, wrongful death, product liability, prescription drugs, and banking cases.
"Having personal experience in tort litigation gives me an advantage when evaluating current and future practice areas,” says Singleton. “ Past experiences and, more importantly, the relationships I have made along the way allow me to add value to the firm's main effort of growing and maintaining sustainable revenue streams.”
Since 2011, he's served in the Arkansas Army National Guard as a member of the US Army's Judge Advocate General's Corps. He currently holds the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. He serves as the Chief of Military Justice, where he is the responsible officer for all Courts Martial proceedings in the State of Arkansas. Some of his previous assignments have been: Senior Defense Counsel - 326th Trial Defense Team, Command Judge Advocate at - Arkansas National Guard Counter Drug Task Force, Brigade Judge Advocate - 87th Troop Command, and Brigade Judge Advocate - 77th Combat Aviation Brigade.
"I am eager to join Stellium because of its innovative, tech-driven approach to litigation," says Singleton." In 2007, Anthony and I started our legal journey, and I'm excited to have the opportunity to join forces with him and the incredible team he has recruited and continue challenging the legal industry's status quo."
